V
So I blew this off last night.
I just did not think this would be able to recapture the magic of the original 1980's "V" - where you were amazed out how the story unfolded. That, and this time they didn't have Kristi Allie to smite the hearts of pubescent teens, with that enthralling long flowing hair of hers.
But now, alas, reports of this new "V" series are quite quite good. And I missed the crucial intro! Is there a way one can view the pilot of the series, now that it has already passed?

I am sure it will show up on www.hulu.com in a very short amount of time. Its where I cath up on all my missed shows usually.

I'm sure that if you wanted to pirate it, it would be EZ. There must be a BitTorrent site out there for TV shows. You'll find it if you're on the ball, or on the DOT. There must be a place where you can download IT.
Never saw the original, but I wasn't completely sold on this one based on the premiere. Seemed like it moved the story along a little fast, if it's truly going to be an ongoing series and not a single-season/miniseries.

iTunes store...$1.99 for the pilot episode.
Or wait until Saturday, Nov 7, and you can watch the premiere online at ABC.com

So far I'm not to fond of of it. After re-watching the entire orginal mini-series even though it was very low budget campy sci-fi back then, it still has quite the emotional punch that this updated version hasn't yet captured from me.
