Nice Post!
For you console boys out there, word on the street is all weps do 25% more damage. Console kids don't have patience so they need things to die with less effort/time.
Great post Nuts....thanks
Rocks, I want to be part of your domain team! You get to spend all day doing math equations for weapon damage :-P
I looked at damage and time to kill. In most cases there's a winner; in others, you have to look at things like magazine size to determine which weapon is better. Of course, if you are more of a spray and pray, magazine count is more important than damage as you just want to put more lead down range. Also, sights have a lot do with with accuracy. Ab rocks with the Garand and the iron sights... personally, I like red-dot.
Assault: AN94 (damage and time to kill)
Engineer: UMP(larger clip)
Medic: M60 (damage and time to kill)
Recon: M24 (damage and time to kill)
Sidearm: M1911 (damage and time to kill)
Others: M14/ (larger clip)
Shotguns: M870/SPAS12 (tied)
At the end of the day, the next higher unlock is not always better. And personal preferences (sites, burst mode, magazine count, clip size) are probably more important than damage factor. I was just amazed to see that the M16 wasn't the be all to end all for the assault.
I'm a sights guy... I definitely do better when I'm using the sights. The only drawback is when someone 'surprises' you and you try to 'run' while still in zoom mode - and you can't. :uzi:
