As I've aged I've decided to leave "crying hypocrite" to the lefties. It's their favorite course of argument and they do it so enthusiastically.
The fact that Gore is a hypocrite does little to endorse or refute his claims regarding the environment.
But Gore's whole point is to encourage lifestyle changes for the average American - lifestyle changes which he himself seems to be not making personally.
Do as I say - not as I do.
That he doesn't do it personally doesn't validate or invalidate his point.
I detest Gore more than most folks, but this line of argument is flawed.
If your only point is that Gore is a hypocrite, then...yeah.
Not a great story, but Michael Crichton's State of Fear may be of interest:

I just find it funny that most of the Hollywood elite along with Mr. Gore beat the environment drum then board their private jets or Hummer.
Not that their is anything wrong with private jets, Hummers, huge houses, vacation homes, etc. Just the holier-than-though platitudes that they espouse and the hypocricy they excrete makes me sick.
Limosine Liberals...gotta love them.Quote:
