Tribes 2 Delay....
I found this at Thresh's FiringSquad
http://firingsquad.gamers.com/news/default.asp#2194
Looks like they are following the Bilzzard ways of game makeing.

Better the Blizzard way of game making than the Activision way...
"Durh, let's make a game and never patch it. Especially if its name is I'82. Especially if it sells less than 2 billion copies. Durrrrh...."

Bummer...well, at least they're honest about it. I can't imagine they'll let it slip past Christmas, so there won't be MUCH of a delay... Good thing is it gives us a little more time to finish things up around here since our target for a 100% functional domain (minus the really cool NEW stuff http://www.augustknights.com/ubb/wink.gif) is the Tribes release date.

Personally, I'm willing to wait a few extra months for a quality product. In the long run, the extra time they spend on the game will ultimately add to the game's life. Hell, if its a quality game, I may still be playing it 2 years from its release. I'm glad to see that Dynamix isn't following the recent trend in the gaming industry to throw unfinished crap out the door----and its that kind of devotion to quality and the customer that wins repeat business.
