I'm in the market for a good pocketknife, preferably the one-hand deployable kind (i.e. with the thumbstud). Does anyone know of a good knife and source?
I've always been intreagued by the ceramic blade knives.

But in all seriousness, I've always had good luck with Gerber Knives. I've always gone with the sheath models and used either the Gerber tool-model (like a leatherman) or the Marlinspike for working on deck. I'm not sure if they make pocket knives, but you may want to check.
I agree with Nuts. Gerber makes great knives for reasonable prices. You wont be disapointed.
Buck...obtainable at Dick's sporting goods among other places.
I paid $35 for my Gerber and carry it everywhere. I even filleted about 15 fish witrh it and still havent sharped in 2 yrs. Not as sharp as it was but its an awesome knife..I like the clip on it too. Slide it right inside you pocket and clip it to the outside of your pocket...
Yuppers, Gerber will do ya just fine. :)
