Retro Gaming
Abandonware, I <3 you so much.
In my last few days of work at this video game store, I've searched for games left and right.
A couple links to some that I never got to play as a kid, but always drooled over and now intend to play:

Fun times, I'm sure everyone in AK is bright enough to know this stuff already, but I just thought I'd share!

I played nearly all of the SSI/DND Gold box games back in the day. Great stuff.

Sadly I'm a tad younger I think and at the mercy of my mother as well as my out-dated 40286, 25Mhz (don't even remember what size HD) computer.
I merely played Pools of Radiance, and Secret of the Silver Blades. I didn't even get my mum to buy Curse of the Azure Bonds (the second). I dare-say those were some of my fondest memories on that old clunker. I'm certain by today's standards these games will seem far inferior, but back then, wasn't it all about using our own imagination to fill in the holes? :nerd:
I believe I passed on the further "Gold Box" editions because they went to a 3D style which felt alien to me (Eye of the Beholder), also I had obtained a gaming console and was permanently glued to that as a young teen.
Sadly, I believe some of those are still being "sold", so they aren't abandonware. :/ I cannot obtain those original 3...I hope to rummage around my home and find the old CD's though! :uzi:
OH! One more title that popped up while I was searching...
"Dragonstrike"
So very classic, I loved this game immensely as a kid.
