New Speakers
My Klipsch Pro-Media speakers bit the dust on me after 6yrs of 24x7 use. Instead of going with Klipsch again I decided to go the route of Bose. I picked up this set yesterday
BOSE - Companion 3 Series

I am really impressed with how they sound. I have been putting them through their paces. Bad Company 2 sounds fantastic on them. I have been playing various songs and they all sound great as well. What really blows my mind is DVD/Blu-Ray playback. It's only a 2.1 set but you'd be almost convinced that it's a 5.1 set.
Two thumbs up!

I was looking at those at Best Buy today. Looked pretty sharp.

Those look damn nice! I still use Creative iTrigues 2.1s because I'm a headphone wearer out of necessity. That necessity being I don't like being hit with frying pans by the wife...

I have those exact same speakers Stitch, and I concur - they are awesome. I can fill most of my house with them, and my backyard (putting one in my office window). My only gripe so far is the USB connection. A few select games, including now Battlefield, they kind of short out and I have to reboot to regain sound. I'm thinking it's something due to my drivers, but they haven't made an update for those in a long time. When I play BF through my headphones and sound blaster I have no problems.
btw - I'll be on the BF2 servers as soon I as regain some of my fps skills (little as they may be)

Os, these are the non-USB connected set. I didn't buy the pair with that connection. The price for those guys really jumped up.

Ya, I didn't buy them either.. They were actually a gift from an ex-gf about 4 years ago now. (I got her a comparable necklace..) good news is they still sound great!
Last night I tried uninstalling the usb audio driver and letting it reinstall - no luck.. Still stuck using the headphones until I figure it out.
