My wife has mentioned she would like a set of 'good' speakers for her iPod - and I was wondering if any of you have any experience with a decent docking station / speaker set? Or if there is actually any such thing. I've personally heard alot of "crappy" sets, but haven't come across a very decent setup to date. Although at the same time, I don't want to spend $200 on a set of iPod speaker / docking station.
Personally I have never found a docking station that was worth a crap. I have bought a few over the years and nothing sounds just spectacular. I finally just broke down and bought a good set of speakers for a PC and ran the audio line straight into my Ipod. Works great.
I bought the Bose iPod docking station a couple of years ago for mine and LOVE it. Definately worth the little bit of extra cash since the others that I looked at sounded tiney. It fills the whole house with amazing sound and is probably the best $250 investment that I've made.
