I call BS...
From the news of bizarre:

So she's a gibbering idiot when sitting still or walking, but when running or walking backwards she's fine? Man I don't know about that. And she's got awfully nice hair and make-up today...
Smells like a publicity stunt, but was kind of interesting.
I put this in the Political Forum, because the sometimes-mandatory flu shots tend to get political.

I resented having to get a mandatory flu shot since I don't have anything to do with patient care and the efficacy of the flu shot is questionable from year to year. So essentially I was being jabbed for no guaranteed return. I also thought it was bizarre that I had to have a respirator. I mean it's not like flu is like a gas link, if there is an outbreak I just won't not go into work.
I also don't think that immunizations are all that dangerous either so while I hated getting one I didn't react to the immunization and it only affected me for 5 minutes of bother to stand in line sign a form and get a jab.
When flu shots match the flu that is circulating then immunizing the kids is the best way to cut down on the number of affected adults. (Japan has done this for a long time and it's worked well.)
OK done with the flu rant.

The few odd reactions do not invalidate the much larger good that inoculations and vaccinations have achieved world-wide.
