A nice deal

I've got the entire day off. The downside is I get to spend it with an old pal named Influenza. I was looking for deals on computer parts for my new box and stumbled across this:
ATI 9800 pro 128 Vid Card. 200 beans after a 30 dollar mail in rebate, and a 70 dollar instant rebate. The online store is sold out, so this one is an in-store cash and carry only. I'm going to take a drive to pick mine up this week in tax free Deleware. This deal expires 2/21/04 (this Saturday).

I was wondering where I picked up that flu. I only got a half day off with mine. I may just go snag one of these too.

Christie got it from her sister, and in turn gave it to me. Apparently we had a hitchhiker with us when we came to visit.

best buy had a deal a while ago where they were getting rid of the lowest model 9800 series card for $130. some people found out that the boxes were labelled wrong, and they actually got a 9800 pro.

i tried looking at every best buy in the twin cities area (they're everywhere, especially since the corporate office is located here too). i had no luck finding these. i was mad. :(
