I just picked this game up last week from Costco for 17.99. Best sub twenty dollar game I have bought. I hear Dark Alliance II is good too.
But if you are looking for something fun to play on the Xbox I would highly suggest BG: Dark Alliance. It is a part of the platinum games editions so it is cheap and well worth it.
Think NeverWinter Nights mixed with Diablo and you have this game. Fast action, good RPG layer, excellent character development and lots of cool items. And you can play it with a buddy co-operatively.
Once again, if you are looking for a good Xbox game go try out BG: Dark Alliance. Hack and slash, baby. Kill hordes of monsters and smash every crate and barrel you see (shades of Diablo). I played this game till my thumbs hurt this weekend.

I loved BG on the xbox. And I know that Bribo and his son really enjoyed it on the PS2. I just recently got BG:II but I have not yet had a chance to play it.
For 17.99 BG is a excellent addition to any collection!

It's going to be my next console game buy.

For the PS2 there is also Champions of Norrath. Think Baldurs Gate with Everquest characters.
It is a complete ripoff of BG with a bit more of Diablo added in. I got to play it at the store yesterday. Even the controls are almost exactly like BG. Only you get more characters to choose from and male and female versions of each character and more varried loot. You even get to name yourself and can play it online with the network adapter or with up to 4 players with a multi-tap on the same box. The characters even have skill trees so you can customize a bit within the class.
BG seems more polished but I am very tempted now to get Champions of Norrath too for my PS2.
Oh, Champions also has random dungeons ala Diablo so it is kind of unique each time you play it.
