Kill Bill Vol. II
I'm surprised that no one has brought this up yet.
All I can say is...AWESOME! I really enjoyed both and I'm convinced that Tarantino is a seriously twisted dude.
I skipped the first one in theaters because I didn't want to wait six months to see the second. Watched the first one on Saturday and the second on Sunday at the Cinerama.
When I saw the "Feature Presentation" clip at the beginning from straight out of the '70's, I almost fell out of my chair. I hadn't seen that in years.
Hopefully Hollywood will start getting the message that they don't always have to make crappy big-budget formula movies to make money.

Saw the first one, haven't seen the second one yet.
Loved KBI, I expect to love the second one as well.
All I have to say is "Go-Go Yubari."

I was so hoping no one would bring this up.. DAM YOU..
Ok well the first kill Bill Movie was to me AWSOME... everything about it rocked. We went and saw KB2 on Sunday and I wanted to kill the counter girl for letting me waist my money... I even showed her my chest for a free Punisher comic (free for premier of THE PUNISHER)... WH#@3
Put it this way, walking out of the theater I overheard 2 different parties saying how bad that was... EVERYONE THERE I GOT THE SAME VIBE FROM. We had a party of 8 people with us and not one was brave enough to say it was even half way decent.
I was in shock that the first one could be so good and the second one be the most boring 2 hours I have had in awhile.. What was it, like 2 fight scenes total? Besides her being trained?
The eye part was cool but I had a really hard time staying awake.... To much David Caradean (however you spell his name) and no fighting like the first oneā¦
WHY TARANTINO? WHY TARANTINO?
WHY TARANTINO? WHY WHY WHY!!!!!?

I liked it. It wasn't the same as the first one, but it was still great. This one was much more about style than action, though.
-
Sounds like Fight Club enjoys action movies more than the usual talky Tarantino fare. I'll bet you didn't like Jackie Brown either...
-
That's another great movie! Tarantino doing Elmore Leonard--you just can't go wrong. I'm looking forward to Be Cool, the sequel to Get Shorty.

Jackie Brown is a classic. Simply an awesome movie. I've enjoyed all of Tarantino's films to date...they're all different which is a pretty impressive display of his talent.
