Workplace photos
I know a few of us travel periodically for work, so I thought we should share pictures of the places you visit. I think Nuts has us beat on the distance, but here are some pics of my current project, located in Big Sky, Montana. It's a resort town about 50 miles north of West Yellowstone and just south of Bozeman MT. IMHO, paradise. I may be moving here to open a permanent branch for my company, hopefully within the next year.
The house, named "Ouzelhaven"

Lone Peak Mountain, also known as Big Sky Ski Resort. That baby has 4 double black runs. Yikes!! high speed quads and two gondola's. Very nice ski hill. That is the back side.

That is the first time i've seen that type of crane used in residential constructions! That looks like one hell of a house.

Believe it or not, but it is a single bedroom house!! Older couple with no children and they hate company. Go figure. They just wanna Ski. And yes Rocks, I believe it is a 1500, but I'm unsure as to the trim package. I cam check on monday if you would like :D

Okay, time to talk the wife into moving to Montana. Looks great. But honestly, isn't only that nice for a few weeks then snowy the rest of the year?

I have seen snow storms in june, early july. But really, the snow season starts around halloween, with light snows that melt in a day or two. The Cold, however, begins around Christmas and last until Valentines day. Highs are in the mid twenties, but we get week long cold spells that can drop to -40 in about 3 hours. It does get too cold to snow sometimes, but only for a few days at a time. those suck :) All in all, it's not too bad. Summer (or spring) begins in late march, but it only gets to be about 50 on average. By June, It's 70 and sunny. Currently it's about 85 during the day and 45 at night. It always cools off at night (very cold in winter). by August, 95-105 for a week or two, then it breaks and fall starts. One very important reminder is that the reletive humidity is very low (20-30 percent) so I believe the boys in New England have it worse that we do. It's cold, but dry. Best part of Montana.....NO BUGS, well, very few anyway. Nice place to vacation (hint hint)
