I don't get it (the strip, not why you posted it.)
I believe its eluding to Squids being the last on the food chain..
I find it fitting.. if I were going to eat anything I would choose Squids last.. probably Beasts first.. :lol2:
That might well be the most unfunny comic I've ever seen.

I thought it was extremely funny... :)
Same here, taken in the right conext..... If I did not know "Squid"-ly then I would agree that it was "unfunnny" but since I do, I also see the humor. ;)Quote:

But beyond that, wtf? It's just doesn't make any sense.
A sense of humor is optional for some people I guess.
BUT. THE. COMIC. ISN'T. FUNNY. Set aside for a moment the fact that that's my nickname. Where's the humor? Plug in Sea-Cucumber for Squid. Is it just the play on the words "link" and "food chain"? That's a pretty weak premise for a comic strip.
I think the joke was on leftovers being the last link on the food chain, not squid. Change squid to ham, roast beef, or bologna, and it remains the same. The choice of squid as the leftover is a bit odd, but there are quite a few people who confuse "odd" and "funny" (see Hall, Kids In The). (Now let me put on my flame-proof suit.)
(Gives thumbs up to Beast)..
Hes right, ya know?
(Puts on flame-proof suit)
It doesn't seem any funnier after that explanation.
