International Flights

Woo Hoo. Lufthansa and United have almost completed outfitting their 747's with W-Lan for high speed surfing. The plane will have a 1mbps connection that is shared amongst all the passengers. For $30, you get unlimited usage for that flight.

Think about it... you could play WOW or EQ while flying to Hong Kong. Get on Ventrillo and talk to the wife. I'm not sure how good bit torrent would work but I'm curious to know if the RIAA could go after you if you shared music over international airspace at 30,000 feet!

I'll try to get on Ventrillo during my next flight to Korea and see how it goes.
