That was pretty funny.
<slightly off topic rant> You know, I can't understand the logic behind the iPod Shuffle. My SanDisk sounds just as good, is smaller, has the same capacity, costs about the same, and has a way cool "feature"--you can control the order the songs. Why anyone would want an MP3 player that's stuck in permanent shuffle mode? </off topic rant>
It's not. The shuffle can be put in "serial" mode where it plays the songs in it's playlist in order. I usually have a few of my latest albums loaded on it and if I feel like listening to one album I simply just press the advance button to the start of that album. It's really no big deal.Quote:

Right, the shuffle order is controllable if that's what you want. I listen to podcasts on mine all the time.
It's 10x eaiser to go running with a shuffle then it is a normal Ipod. So I love the shuffle for that simple reason.
Ah--I hadn't read you could take it out of shuffle mode. That makes things a lot clearer. I rely heavily on my "podcast" of a certain satellite radio show, and my lil' SanDisk comes with a velcro strap--great for housework, or exercise, should I ever decide to start leaving my house again. :)
Another major downside of the "Sandisk" is that it's not Apple. :)
I bought my wife a Shuffle about a month ago and she loves it. I bought her one of the armbands and she takes it with her to the gym.
