Yup. I saw that. The concept looks great. I like fighting in mechs.

I'll probably pick it up a couple of years after the release date, once DICE's alpha and beta testing are done and the patches are out.

Did you see the trailer and leaked gameplay movie?

If they're adding mech, they better add localized damage physics - so we can knock out a mech's leg functionality, for example.

But it's probably just going to be a BF2 mod, rather then a new engine. :(

Cool concept. Agreed on the localized mech damage. Hopefully this is a whole new product and not just a BF2 mod.
