If you would like to read the story arc from the begining start HERE :nuh:
So the Mrs. gave in and gave him permission I take it?
You could use the 2 grand and buy Apple stock and then buy the Iphone in 6 months with the dividends. I hope his Iphone has a lo-jack in it. Thanks for the post Bri, made me laugh..
It cost something less than 2 grand, Rocks. Activation (for me anyway) was a bitch, but now that that's over, it's freakin' great. :)
iBliss /swoon
Here's some photos I took yesterday.
I know the phone is less, Data and voice were the expensive side. Glad you like it.. Give us some details....We need a RAW squid review...
I got to play with one yesterday. The phone itself is cool as hell, but I would worry about scratches, etc on the face. Hopefully it's more durable than it looks. If they release it without the phone aspects as just an iPod - I will get one.
But, if you've experienced data speeds on Sprint or Verizon like I have, using the AT&T Edge system is going to feel like going from FIOS fiber back to 14.4 baud modem. It's S-L-O-W. Hence, another reason besides the spotty AT&T network coverage in our region for "me" not to buy one. That and the $600 could go towards a nice Power Mac. ;)
Its already been said that within 6 months its gonna be half the price it is now...
Makes me wonder why people would want to be paying test subjects of the first generation of the phone.
The face is tempered glass. It doesn't scratch. Check the stress test linked on blog in this post.
They don't make Power Macs anymore, Hylander. That's what you get for living in the past. :)
They gave EDGE a goose last week. I get over 200kbps now on it. Fine for email and brief surfing sessions (find directions, movie times, etc.) Wireless is plenty fast for me, and widely available for when I want to do heavier surfing. (Like at work, in one of those god-awful all-day departmental meetings I get stuck in.)
Hey, did you guys know I have a blog? You should check it out sometime! ;)
