OMG this was awesome!

I find it completely amazing that on another board I frequent one of Obama's supporters there finds his statements about the Gates situation to be completely fine. I told him he's delusional, he called me a wingnut... /shrug.

Height of arrogance. Does he realize that his presidency is in big trouble?
I think what he was really trying to say is that he wants EVERYONE to get out of HIS way.
Updated my list with:
Submitting to pressure from Vladimar Putin, Obama turned his back on our Polish allies and denied them our missile defense technology.
When the president of Honduras attempted to illegally run for president and establish himself as dictator the Honduran Supreme court rejected his attempts and the Honduran Congress working with the Attorney General asked the military to intervene in order to prevent this illegal activity. Obama then cut off financial ties with the temporary Honduran government, canceled the travel Visa for the temporary president and demanded that the would-be Marxist of a president be restored to power.
Obama asked a citizen of this nation not to run for elected office. When he asked NY Governor David Patterson not to run for re-election he was, in fact, using his position as President to pressure Patterson not to exercise his constitutional right to participate in his government.
This last one is just politics. Paterson is extremely unpopular in New York right now. In straw polls he loses the 2010 race to Rudy in a land slide. Plus, the Democrats in this state seem to have anointed Andrew Cuomo as the next governor. Cuomo has emerged as a very powerful and likable public figure.
Yes it's politics. And I'm sure other presidents have done things in the past. But the point it still valid. No matter how much Patterson sucks, the POTUSA should not be directing citizens not to participate in their government... PERIOD. It's wrong.
Personally, I think that once you become President it should be against the law for you to
1. Be a leader in any political party
2. Raise funds for any political party or candidate for any office
3. Endorse any person running for an elected position in any local, state or federal office.
4. Profit from your position for 4 years following your end of your term in office. No speaking engagements, book deals, CEO positions etc... that are expressly due to your term as President. If you were a lawyer, you can go back to being a lawyer. But you can't use your experience to turn a profit for at least 4 years.
Just my opinion but when you're president you are there representing ALL Americans, not just republicans or democrats.
Hard for me to get excited about the missile defense shield thing. Only think that they should've held out for something in return for scrapping the plan.
There's probably some story about friends and enemies here, maybe an analogy about the Soviet Union and Nazi's... But I don't think you make concessions with a less than friendly nation in the hopes of gaining concessions with a lesser than friendly nation.
I'm somewhat amused by this one:

It all seemed so clear and easy on inauguration day. With a stroke of a pen, Gitmo will be closed!
Enter reality, stage right. Here we sit, and already they are saying that wellllll maybe not.
Yesterday, Obama had his My Pet Goat moment. Of course, this won't haunt him like it haunted Bush; Obama's adoring fans in the media will pretend not to notice. http://www.nbcchicago.com/news/polit...President.html
Update: After posting this, I googled "Obama's my pet goat moment" to find that many have beaten me to it. Here's the clip at Hot Air (for those who haven't seen it or heard it on the radio): http://hotair.com/archives/2009/11/0...f-the-day-150/
Here's how the President of the USA does it:

Isn't there some kind of coach or something in the white house to instruct the President on customs? First off, you're not supposed to bow and shake hands at the same time. At best it makes you look like an ignoramus. Here's the handbook on bowing:

note there's no line for bowing at a 60° angle. What is that, subservience?
As to the thought that everyone should bow to the Japanese Emperor, here's how a US Navy Admiral does it:

Looks the man in the eye and shakes his hand. Between these pictures, which of these men looks like a leader - and which looks like a bitch?
And finally...
