I am still on the fence about it. I was just on a server with Camel and had to jump out due to large amounts of frustration. It's definitely disheartening to constantly spawn and die due to one shot sniper rifles.
As much as I love my mini-map I'm gonna keep giving it a go. :bounce:
Like someone already said, once you get a dozen or so rounds of hardcore under your belt, I am sure it starts to grow on you.

Stu, in regards to the frustration, it happens to me all the time but in non HC games....Just wait my bro it rocks..........oh I found a HC server, well admin'd, with no sniper rifles. U can go recon, and let me tell you some intense action is the result. EVERYBODY is going for the flag and EVERYBODY is defending. One drawback is a lot of stalemates with can be good and bad i guess. Its wierd not to worry about snipers and not running all the time

I have tried it a few times and I really don't like it. I seem to spend more time staring at the counter to spawn in than actually playing. With non-HC, it gives me a fighting chance if I have a crappy spawn in. Also being 2-shot isn't my thing (with seemingly any gun). I can see how it seems more real, but I don't think I am looking for real in a game.
