It costs my wife and I more to go to a movie theater and see a movie than it does to buy the DVD.
Plus, if the DVD sucks, we can always turn around and dump it on Ebay.
I know that, but I just don't got to theatres. Just rent movies.
The only DVDs I own are:
Army of Darkness: Director's Cut(Damnit, I thought they'd let you choose between normal and director's version...and the whole thing looks like VHS! Argh! At least I got to meet Bruce Campbell)
Princess Mononoke
Akira
Wierd Al: The Videos
UHF
The Royal Tenembaums Criterion Collection
South Park movie(It was $12!)
a few other things I can't remember
*shrug* I own more than you... Not much more to say than that, really.
You should look on ebay for the limited edition Army of Darkness that has both the Directors Cut and the regular version. I picked it up a while ago for a somewhat reasonable price, but I think now it can get rather pricy.
I got the 2 DVD version in the extra-wide plastic case (clamshell?) Enough for my purposes, really.
Well, too lates, I got the director's cut.
*sigh*
At least I have my Cowboy Bebop Perfect Sessions. I wuv woo, wittle perfect sessions, wes I woo!
