I'm glad that bad calls didn't determine the game, they got both of the calls right 1. the home run by Bellhorn 2. AHole oops I mean ARod's swat at the ball even though he hit the guy's forearm. I think it's funny they argued it was just normal base running because if that's the case I think he is a little fruity.

Well, I think my prediction was dead wrong. :(
As for the A-Rod incident, he should have slammed into him instead of swatted at his glove.

Bo Sox!
Let the curse of the Bambino be lifted!

I think Bribo's right--if he'd just run into him with a little bit of velocity, that ball would have come out anyway. I think the Yankees were more diminished by the fans throwing so much crap onto the field that it had to be cleared and riot police trotted out.

Currently it's Cardinals 4 to 3 in the 6th and I'm rooting Astros also.
We were talking about the Arod snafu over lunch. Firstbase was blocking the base and the pitcher was not directly in the path. I noticed the pitcher's postion right away but I didn't catch on to what the firstbaseman was doing. Arod ran around and past firstbase without tagging and it appeared that the ump made the call before Arod came back to tag.
Tonight's game may well make the World Series an anti-climax. The Redsocks have already done what has never been done before. If they were to somehow do the impossible tonight, I can't help but root for those hairy buggers instead of NL. It's like a flashback to 70s baseball. When Damon removes his hat, it's almost a religious experience.
