I don't like the thought of Orwellian control measures like traffic cameras. And I don't speed that much; rarely more than 5 mph over these days. Red light cameras have started to crop up here, but no speed cameras yet.
I live in in San Antonio, where we have WAY more problems with stupid drivers than fast ones.
I prefer to go about 5 over the speed limit on the freeway, and I move over to the right at the first opportunity whenever anyone wants to pass me.
I'll second what Hylander said about the folks driving 10 or more below -- we have a lot of morons here who'll sit in the left-hand lane doing 55 in a 70 with a line of cars stacked a quarter-mile deep behind them. That sort of thing causes road rage. Of course, these are mostly the same doddering codgers that inch up to the end of the freeway on-ramp and stop in the acceleration lane while they wait for the freeway to be absolutely clear of traffic.
I really want them to have mandatory eyesight/reflex/driving tests every 5 years or so. If someone cannot safely accelerate, merge with traffic, and enter a freeway, they have no business being on it.
