I'll keep trying every month to set up a date to get those guys down here. Lets start thinking about May.
In the meantime, do you have a preference between April 17th and 18th?
Fax - are you available/interested?

I'd prefer Saturday the 17th, but I'm flexible.
On this 17th we could play on this field, which has some interesting buildings and stuff. The downside is that it seems a bit less "organized" than On-Target. Trouble with On-Target is that it's so popular that it's group-by-appointement only on Saturday.
I'm game for that weekend. Looking forward to it. I'm up for playing in Jersey or the Poconos, any place is fine really, as either location is pretty much equidistant from where I live. I'll have to rent the equipment this first time out, as I'm buying an engagement ring this week, and my paintball fund flew out the window along with most of my freedoms.
Excellent! I'll try to gather some more info about Manhunt Paintball...if it checks out we'll do that one on Saturday, 4/17. More info soon.
Manhunt got some scathingly bad reviews. I can do Sunday.
Sounds like a deal. They open at 9am. I'm going to swing by today on the way home and scope it out.
BTW - check out this site . Some cool vids...
Some of those scenarios look wild! The D-Day 24 hour scenario at Skirmish would really be something amazing to participate in. An AK squad gathering might be something to ponder...
[edit]: There was even a tank at last years gathering made out of a Chevy Suburban:

Yeah, I'm definitely going to that D-Day event...so mark your calendars now folks.
BTW, I went to On-Target yesterday after work. They are only open on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, but I was still able to scope some of the fields and the staging area. It's located out in the sticks, down a rutted dirt road. Lots of pine forest, and along the entry road (near the parking area) there were little narrow roped off paths heading out to the "woods" fields. Peeking through the woods you could catch glimpses of some of the structures/buildings. There were signs on the way in that said stuff like "get ready!" and "Goggles required past this point!", etc.
To quote Beef from Achewood - "Looks hella cool."
The directions I followed were kind of iffy. They left out a critical turn and I ended up driving 15 minutes in the wrong direction.
I suggest using a map or plot it out online. Or maybe you guys should meet me at my house and follow me over.
I'll likely play in the D-Day scenario. If there would be enough interest in playing in the D-day scenario, we might consider all entering as a group so as to get on the same team. Just a thought.
hmmmmmmmmm very interesting.
Here's my gun with the flatline barrel and MP5 mag installed. The sling is wrapped around the stock right now...trying to come up with a quick release buckle...

Impressive...most impressive. I may run to the local Target sporting goods section this weekend for a case of paintballs.
Sounds like Bribo will be attending on the 18th as well! This is good news!
