With your driving skillz, it could take all night for you to get your grill in line. Maybe you should have a person with real skill show you how it's done. I mean look at my driving skillz in Planetside ;)Quote:

BF2 is turning out to be a real disapointment to me. Most of the servers have such a high ping that it is just nuts to play. The changing of controls is such a pain that it will not let you. To me DC was a lot more fun with larger maps than BF2. I will give it a little longer before I decide to put it on the shelf.
Gessum, that controller is a freakin brick. Could they have made it any more obnoxious and cumbersome? And as side note, Gunny was upset enough about the lame key mapping. I doubt he's gonna fork over another $150. But the idea is cool.
There is no doubt there is issues with BF2 but i think most of us were so pumped up in anticipation of a game that would be more exciting and better than 1942. Well as is with most movie sequals we were disappointed. I've come to accept BF2 for its faults (albiet i don't have the control issues). Remeber back when 1942 came out the initial release had issues to. I for one am enjoying playing BF2 and its great when the AK'ers get to play together (I have a new headset comming so you can hear me again). I think BF2 is a totally different style of fps that relies so much more on squad play than run & gun and in the right server with the right group its alot more enjoyable than DC ever was IMHO. I never had as much fun in DC or 1942 well SW was alot of fun as long as Gemini wasn't in the air (remember him?) that guy would definetly rival KB for sure in a dog fight. anyways what I was gonna say is that when you get a good squad in a blackhawk that is fun... I hope they hurry up with the patch and we start to see more people in the Battlefield channel in vent :uzi:
I'm personally having lots of fun with the game. I hope to see more people online soon, as well.
I've only been playing once or twice a week, but when I do I generally have a blast. BF2 is a very fun game. It's not ground breaking. It's not revolutionary. And yes, it has issues (like JD, the control issue does not effect me directly). But overall, I think the way the game plays is vastly superior to BF1942, DC, etc. I play commander probably 90% of the time and I've gotten pretty decent at it and have eliminated probably 95% of the TK with artillery. Even on pubs it's usually just a dolt who refuses to listen and every time you give a command automatically responds "no can do" that ends up getting killed. When people take the time to join squads, I find the game a whole lot of fun and even on pubs you can get some strategy going even if only 1 squad follows your orders.
That being said.. I don't see alot of AKers getting into this until Sept/Oct.. maybe later with the recent pending legislation to move daylight savings time to the first Sunday in November. ;)
