I called up today and got some clarification. If you pre-register, you pay $30 and you're covered for BOTH DAYS. It's NOT $30 each day.
If you don't pre-register, it's $40.
Even if you only play 1 day the price is the same.
They're expecting 100 on 100 battles on several fields at once (different missions in the scenario.)

Any idea what side you guys would prefer? I'm thinking about pre-registering and saving 10 bucks.

I wish I could attend this one. That weekend is really bad for me.
I wish I could play THIS weekend, but that pesky NFL draft is being held.
I'm definately going to play Saturday, but it's doubtful I'll play Sunday. I'm not partial to either side, just so long as all AKers are on the same team. I don't think I'm going to pre-register. That way if I catch the flu/yellow fever/Marburg virus, I'm not out of the thirty bucks. Can you pre-register over the phone with a credit card?
I echo Faxman's sentiments, except that as of right now, I plan on playing both days.
Q: Do you guys use radios when you paintball? Are they legal or desirable?
As an uninformed bystander, I wouldn't know these things but I was thinking of the irony of yelling MAYDAY, MAYDAY, MAYDAY into your headset on the first day of your outing...

Yeah you can use radios. They even have ones with mics that rest on your neck, responding to the vibrations I guess.
Fax - yea you can register over the phone. I think I'm going to "enlist" with the humans.
Bri - I talked to my brother today and he'd be interested in playing this summer someplace north of you. I think Rob would be into it too.

Both of these places look pretty decent. I would visit both of them ahead of time to check them out before we decided to set the date. They are both located within 20 minutes of the Northway in the Lake George area.
There is another place in Corinth near my In-laws, it's about the same distance from my place as the other two. So in any event, all of you guys can drop your car(s) off at my place and then it's just a short trip up to any of them. Plus afterwards we can do the BBQ back at my pad. So let's throw some dates out there and we can plan a big ol fun time!

Both places up by us look very good on the pricing side. The Rock-it place is very close to Corinth so it's even closer then the 3-guys place. I am going to be at the in-laws on Sunday so I will make visits to both places. I'll get info, and pictures and post. And hey for 10$ I might sneak on the field for a round or two ;)

As far as the expensive field paint we'll be required to use, what do you guys think about buying two cases of paint and splitting the cost? Since it looks like it'll only be three of us, that should be plenty of paint to at least get us started.
I shot a half case last weekend, so I'm thinking I'll need one case just for myself if I play the two days...

Hey guys, the fields open at 8am tomorrow morning, so I'm thinking we should meet at my place at 7am.
Sounds like an early start will be in order for Fax and Beast.
Will do--we'll hit the road around 6:30-6:45.
It'll be good to get there early. Get into the payment line early, and get chrono checked before the rush.
Beast - if you hit the road by 6:30-6:45 will you make it to my place by 7am?
Given that this is a scenario event I think it's important to make it there on time, even a bit early. Both for orientation reasons and the fact that there figures to be about a zillion people there.
Ah--I didn't read your last post correctly. Yeah, we'll be on the road before 6.
