I get a call from the wife today... You got a box from Fed Ex today, I think its your new PC parts. I get home.... it's only my anti-static mat that I ordered yesterday. ROFLMAO Fast delivery, but better off anyways. I want to wait until Friday before I mess with rebuilding this thing but I'll be like a kid in a candy store with my new parts just 'sitting there'. So it's best if they don't come until Thursday or Friday. ;)

At last run I was at 1750 mhz...with no voltage increase...The memory is set to 2/5/2
I got 9120 3dmark 2001...running at 38C. The system will not heat up at all. It is rock solid running XP. I like it alot :)
With tweaking I can make this thing hit 1800+ but that will be for benchmarking only. Have to keep this rig for a while so i cant toast anything.

Notice the temperature in that pic. My CPU is never above 35F even under the highest of loads... and did I mention that it's all but SILENT? My old rig with the 7K RPM fan sounds like a jet engine by comparison.
Now off to work on the overclocking... ;)

That's right, kids, 1.826GHz with a 166MHz FSB. Temperatures get all the way up to 94F/34C, but I think I can live with that... ;)

I see Zorro still employs Microsoft's "Playschool Theme". Ditch that puppy and I'll betcha pickup a few 3DMarks... ;)
How does the "Playschool" theme impair 3dMark performance? I would think your desktop preference would have no bearing on DirectX/video performance.

Hy, I took the "old" tornado 1000 and gave it to the wife/kids. The 7K RPM HSF (CAK-38) is two rooms away and I can STILL hear that bastard... Big fan of the [H], though you'll most often see me in other place's forums as Artemido or Artemidorus.
I want one of those cases... *drool* I have a tornado 1200 from 3dcool right now.. ;)
Wow.... awesome, but, how the HELL are you guys getting these 8000+ scores??????
Ive checked on Madonion and compared my score to very similar systems, and theyre blowing me out of the water!! I BM at 5950... and the scores I saw on similar systems were 8-9000. What the heck do I need to do??

I use the Geforce Tweak utility, and set it to "fastest settings", and have the latest via drivers for my MB, and the 23.11 drivers for GF card. What am I missing here that I can improve upon?
