MicroSD card prices - total nosedive.

I'm curious, are these being discontinued?

Prices on these things has dropped to the point of almost being free in a very short period of time. 2 months ago, $50 for a 2 GB MicroSD card was a great deal. Now they are going for less than $10, or even less than $5.



This is an unusual acceleration to the normal rate that prices on things drop - or maybe not?

Just curious.

RAM must be going for piss cheap right now if these cards are so cheap. I bet 64 bit processors and OS's start getting a lot more popular a lot faster if this is just the normal way of things - why waste time with 3 GB limitation of a 32 bit OS?
