The Practice Thread for 11/12/03: Public Practice - Philippines

Sorry again for the late post, everyone, but we'll be having an open-to-the-public practice tonight at 8:30 PM EST on the August Knights Secret Weapons Server. It'll be August Knights, Squires, and recruits (ie, those with Ventrilo) vs the Pubbers (those without Ventrilo). We're getting ready for two more scrimmages before the Thanksgiving holidays, but the only map we're sure we're playing so far is the Philippines, so that's the map we'll be getting familiar with tonight. Hope to see everyone there--there will be no password on the server; we'll be using the usual AK Ventrilo server and password. Hope to see everyone there!

Are we replying with a role call? If so, count me in.

I played this map yesterday and it was a lot of fun. The PT boats are really cool. This map is BIG however. I can't see us having much fun if it's only 4 on 4 or 5 on 5. So I'm glad to see we will be opening this practice to the public. Mo is betta with this map.

I should be there barring any "special" birthday celebrations. ;)

Celebrations? Every time you bail it's due to "special celebrations". We ain't buyin' that!

I'm not for certain I will be there tonight seeing how I am prety far from my house right now but Im going to try my best to be there and I may even be a little late but should be there. Wow, that was a long sentence.. lol

I probably won't be able to make it, but I will get the server ready. I have a lot of work to make up due to spending half the day dealing with the theft of my briefcase (and other possessions) from my vehicle.

Ugh! That sucks. :(

Don't worry about it, Palooka--we're going to leave the server open, and I can switch the map to Philippines as needed.
