there is a phone that you can use with iTunes, not sure of any specs on it though...
It's through Cingular here in NY
Motorola SLVR is the phone you're looking for. ;)
Nokia 6255, it's the phone I'm currently using, has an slot for a MMC card, phone reads up to 2GB of songs. - it's bluetooth so you can even use a wireless headset/earpiece! (I use my bluetooth earpiece to listen to music while at work..)
Who's your current cellular provider? I'll be able to give you another recommendation based on who they are/what they have to offer.

Thanks KB, I picked up an LG Fusic today. So far I'm really liking it. Ask me again after I've had a couple of days.Quote:

With Verison you've got a few choices:
High end Samsung (aka, high end price) would be the Samsung SCH-A990 - Note that the phone only supports .wma - so you'll have to convert any MP3's to that format first.
If you dont care about the 3.1 megapixel camera in the 990, go for the LG VX-8300 (clam-shell design) or LG VX-8500 (slider design) whichever one suits your aesthetics taste.
awesome!
I'll check into them (just got home, and MC is in 20 mins)
Thanks a ton!:bounce:
I've tried several different carriers up here in the NE and Verizon is by far the best. It's too bad that in general, their phone selection sucks. At the very least, they get phones 6 month or a year later with features disabled which you either live with, or hope you can find a hack for on the 'net.
I still use a Motorola V710 with Verizon (My wife has a razor). Great coverage, good connections eveyrwhere I go, which is the most important part I suppose.
I'd still like to get a Treo, although I still use my Sony Clie PEG-N760C every day as my handheld, and I don't own an iPod. ;)
They're really hyping the 8500 now (Chocolate)

It all depends on your phone and what you are trying to hack. Verizon disabled certain features of Bluetooth and would not allow you to load your own ringtones. But with my TransFlash Card, I create my own ring tones using Audacity and the Lame MP3 encoder. I then save them on the TransFlash card and put it into my phone. Then when I access it on the phone, it allows me to save the MP3 as a ringtone.Quote:
