entry level... maybe around 60 or so. Plus awesome 401k/profit sharing/pension/benefits. Plus of course the honor and coolness of working with me. Shit, what more do you need?
When you go to Nigeria, they pick you up at the airport in an armored van with two jeeps (one up front, one in back) both with .50 cals. Very cool.
When you ride the trains in Switzerland, there are police on board who carry machineguns. And there are tanks at the airport.
So I've got the whole armed transit thing covered... :)
If this position isn't filled by December, talk to me. I'm going to be on the lookout for opportunities outside of academia into the private sector sometime in 2009, and while I have a couple of places I'd prefer to live (my closest friends live in Washington DC and Houston), in the end, the biggest influence on my decision will likely be who offers me the biggest sack of money.
Position is only open for two weeks. We needed someone months ago but the paper work to post for the position was tough.
