    Welcome PA-Scott

I'd like to welcome our newest recruit, PA-Scott, to AK. Nice playing with you last night, Scott. Good luck in your quest for knighthood.

    Talking

    Thanks for the welcome guys!

First off, let me apologize for screwing up a few of the practice runs Sunday night. I was a bit confused on more than one occasion! I will be more aware of the practicing runs in the future!

Although I plan to use the excuse: It was Squidly's fault! quite often.

I still consider myself a relative 'newbie' to Tribes 2, although a veteran of online gaming - particularly online sim racing.

SolarWolf - I go back to the original Indy Car Racing from Papyrus as far as sim racing, but my online racing started with NASCAR Racing 2, the online BETA called Hawaii, and then racing in the NROS (NASCAR Racing Online Series) on TEN. Currently, I race Grand Prix Legends the most, but also race NASCAR Racing 4 and Colin McRae Rally 2. I also run http://www.PowerSimsMag.com

My Tribes 2 strengths are Base defense, farming, and HO. I'm very willing to learn more offense as my capping skills leave alot to be desired!

    Thanks Again!

There isn't a whole lot of Colin McRae Rally 2 online racing going on, but I did find a few European offline leagues still going.

My friend and I go head to head online every once in awhile. It can be a real blast. When you see the "ghost" car go by you and all of a sudden you start 'pushing' and end up kissing a tree or rock.

On TEN I raced mostly in the OSCAR League and some in the Southern Allstars. I actually have real life racing experience from the SCCA. I raced Sports Renault (Now Spec Racers), Sports 2000, and a little GT-1. Watkins Glen was my home track.

Right now I'm working on getting a solid server to host a racing league for PowerSimsMag.com. Now that fall is here and they weren't offering any classes I needed this semester in my MBA program, I might have a bit more time for 'playing'
