Say Beast, any thoughts on getting the AK BF server up again? There's not as many options out there as I'd like, and it'd be good to have one of our own at least. Regarding Secret Weapons, sounds like a good idea to me to put those maps in the rotation!

Hylander - I snagged Civ IV Gold on Ebay this week. It's on the way, baby! I may put that puppy on my laptop, what a great way to whittle away hours during flight delays while traveling. "Aw crap, they fixed the plan already!!?, but I'm about to sack Rome!"

Astonishingly, I still have DC installed. Haven't played in forever but that's the most fun I've ever had gaming, bar none.

Fantastic maps and weapons and there's never been a game before or since where the helicopters were so difficult to fly.

Just be sure not to allow Palooka to use the Frogfoot. I'm sick of getting base-camped by him.

I did a little DC'ing yesterday afternoon. Some of the folks that are still playing are the ones that were playing it 5 years ago. I saw A-10 pilots that had scary accuracy. But eerie thing was that I still recalled some of my tactics and how to get around the maps.

Drat! I'm on the road the next 2 and a half weeks, so won't be able to play this any until I get home. If there's still interst, I really do want to do an hour or so of AK DC gameplay a week if we can. I'll post more details on that when I get home.

As always, don't wait for me to organize something. Make it happen boys!
