Seems that I cannot map the buttons to where I prefer them.

This is a game ending flaw in my book.

Here's some of the rumors I've been hearing (as no one that's played has posted any kind of in-depth review).

- kind of Wow like
- combat is different but cool (placed shots, more interactive)
- toons and creatures are solid (no pass through)
- facial graphics look weird
- you get a "loading" screen when going from zone to zone (unlike Wow where that only happens from continent to continent or when going into an instance. Imagine a loading screen when going from Terrokar to SV).

Please confirm or deny these rumors and you AOCers please post more factoids about the game.

I seem to move my action icons around with no issues. Bri,, all true. Ganking is really bad if u ask me.. (new to everyone), and i think its tough to tell real vs bot. Going to switch to singleplayer for awhile taday to see how I like it. *****FYI****** I am on Stromrage..

Is it a free-for-all gankfest? Are there particular "sides" like Alliance and Horde? Or can you attack any other player when out in the wild?

Well I can't get in this morning either, and it seems I am perma-banned from the forums as well, so I can't find out what is going on. I'm hoping its just yet another launch bug.

If anyone CAN access the forums and give me a clue what's going on, I'd appreciate it.

Hmmm, well that's an unfortunate -1 to the appealing rating there. The human factor (i.e. ability to attack/be attacked) certainly adds to the excitement and unpredicability of gameplay. But anarchy gank-festing can be a drag real fast.

I am in PVP mode, you can switch to single player at any time. (IE,, you play at night). PVP/multiplayer mode (day time) wont be much of an issue if u are grouped. I assume just like wow, if u are alone, you are bait! Just to be clear. Day and night have nonthing to do with real wall clock time. Just the mode you are in. On the flip side on Stromrage, I have had no connections issue or lag. Very smooth so far.

Swae, Your Game login and the forum login are different. Go to your account management on funtime and set-up your forum login. I figured that out the hard way.

Yeah, I did. I was on the forums all last night reading game discussion, and this morning it says I'm banned.

From the little I can gather outside the official forums, this problem is not just me. When I initially registered my account, it was with my pre-order key. Since there is no official key entered, my account was frozen. But when I try to put in my retail key and reactivate my subscription, I get an error.

When I enter my forum information to try to long onto the forums, I get this message:

You have been banned for the following reason:
No reason was specified.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

If either of you guys with working forum access could take a peek and see if there's been any word on this, I'd love ya forever.

I'll probably be home fairly early today and hopefully can get on and get the newest Swae made.

Message from Tarib, a game developer:

"At the moment pre-order accounts, which are not part of the Early Access program or have not yet registered a valid retail-key, are put into frozen status. This is because only Early Access customers and those with a registerd retail-key are actually allowed to play on the servers.

These pre-order accounts are also blocked from accessing the forums as they are only available for customers with currently active game accounts (which right now the pre-order accounts without a valid retail-key are not)

This is actually correct behaviour of the billing system. As soon as the servers have been opened for launch, these customers will have to enter a valid retail-key in order to unfreeze their accounts and get access to the game servers and the forums.

We will open read access to the forums for everybody soon. But it will always be that only customers with valid game accounts will be allowed to write posts and engage in discussions with the community."

Hmm...I registered my retail key this morning. Maybe it just takes a while, but my account is still showing as frozen.

What keys are you having issues mapping? I have ran into no problems so far.
