    Civil War Re-Enactment

This past weekend I attended a Civil War Re-Enactment with my Photography Club. I thought I would post a favorite or two of mine and if interested, a link to my Flickr site. I generally stick to photographing automobiles and auto racing, but I've been attempting to expand my horizons. I hate doing portraits, unless the model is very enticing.

Interesting Civil War stuff. Very nice nature pics too, by the way.

Highly cool. We went down to Gettysburg a few years ago and really enjoyed our stay. Lots of re-enactments going on. I thought we were hot but these guys had full wool uniforms on and were marching and doing drills in 100 degree heat.

Bribo - I got fried myself. We were OK through most of the morning early afternoon because it was overcast with a slight breeze even though it was low 90s. But around 2PM the sun came out, humidity shot through the roof, and it was absolutely miserable. I can't imagine how horrible it must be for those wearing those uniforms.
