Actualy the only real reason I havent tried AoC is because I hear about a lot of greefing... Have any of you seen that be a problem?

Is there PvP in the world? Yes!

Have I found it to be significantly worse than WoW world PvP? Nope.
I am currently level 19 so I am still on baby island but so far it hasn't been frustrating or bad.

The only difference is that it can come from anyone so there is tension anytime you see another player. No green or red head's up they are all Horde

I have been invited to help quest as often as I have been ganked so it is about even. Also having another player kill you seems to be the most efficient way of transporting at times so that occurs also.

They are instituting some kind of bounty system for gankers as well so that if you are a major ganker you will have a bounty placed on your head to encourage everyone to KoS you. Not sure how that works yet.

Also unlike WoW you res at a central location and a single res penalty isn't that significant so you can go to a different quest away from the gankers you don't HAVE to res close to where you died. You even have a choice of res places.

So far the most frustrating thing I have experiened is a quest I have to do alone that I started unprepared and a bit underlevelled for and therefore can't really complete. There doesn't seem to be a way to exit out.
I hope the GM's can help me reset or something, this only happened last night so of course every new frustration is "the worst"

I picked it up today, some people I used to raid with on Feathermoon are on your server as well so that's likely where I'll roll.

Pharm hit it right on the head. Once or twice I've caught a little bit of grief from some 30s when I was in my low 20s--I avoided them and completed the quest, then Nuts showed up with his 42 character and they left little smoke clouds taking off.

BTW, Pharm, I found out this little tidbit searching to see what could be done without resorting to divine (read: GM) intervention:

If you're impatient to get off the island (and who could blame you), there's a smuggler that will take you off to your homeland zone.

Apparently he's in an abandoned warehouse in front of the NPC named Odetta, near some level 10-11 pirates.

The other thing you could do is help the resistance fighters take on the Red Hand guards--I think you get XP for killing them--and get yourself another level or two.
