14 GB patch!!!!!

hmmm, odd. It did force a DB check a few nights ago, but has shown no signs of trouble since. Maybe I'll try to load it up again in a bit and see if it's still demanding a huge update.

Yeah, that apparently was a broken-data fix on my client only. It didn't show up on my other machine, and when the actual Thursday patch showed up, it was the same 14 MB that everyone else saw.

It's making me verify the resource DB again tonight. The game didn't crash or anything--I quit the normal way last night. It was abnormally laggy, though. Wonder if that has anything to do with anything.

I am running into the same thing every once in awhile. I have been saying cancel to the verify and moving on.

Good to know. I let it verify while I finished Mass Effect (and start over on Hardcore difficulty to play the Renegade track), and that pretty much pooched any AoC for me last night. Next time I'll cancel and see what happens.

At least it didn't make me re-download content other than the patch this evening.
