I remember Planetside! I don't think I made it out of the beta--I was vehemently anti-subscription back then.

I think there are a lot of similar experiences with the WW2OL crowd.

I played and enjoyed it before the expansion. However the general pointlessness of it all caused me to quit.

Take territory, lose territory. No point. Take the planet, log out, and find everything gone. Do it again. And again. And again.

It'd have been so easy to fix...but no.
