    I've seen the big sliding banner thing happening on more and more "news" websites. Sucks, no matter what the topic.

    I was so confused by this. I couldn't figure out WTF your point was. Then I remembered that I use noscript, so I temporarily allowed everything on the page...

    Holy Crap, that is huge.
