I'm enjoying FO3, but I'm still having a little trouble with the overall objective of the game. Maybe I'm just over-thinking things. But basically, it's sort of like a simplistic WoW type quest/leveling system. I understand there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to play the game and you can be good, bad, indifferent - find your dad, don't find your dad, etc. But what am I really trying to accomplish? Or am I missing something?

awesome game! Finally I can expand my wings as a Fry cook. Just getting to the carter town.. Red Alert 3 is still in a package on my desk and may stay that way for awhile.
This made me laugh out loud for real. I must have some daddy issues, plus my tenth birthday sucked, and I just lied about enjoying it.Find your dad, damn it.
My two year-old (I think) PC runs Oblivion very well. Can I expect it to run Fallout 3 equally (or nearly) as well?
Yes Palooka...it should run it very well indeed. You won't be at "high" quality settings, but it'll run smooth and things will still look great. I've been impressed with the way the game scales to hardware.
