I live in her Congressional District. She has no experience. She's an empty suit. She's been described as a glorified social worker.

That being said the New York City liberals are all up in arms so her appointment can't be all that bad. She's from upstate as well which is nice to see since most if not all of our representation seems to come from the city and Long Island. Plus, they are going to have a special election for her Congressional seat and I'm hoping the Republicans win it back.

I can't believe that Caroline Kennedy's mysterious midnight withdrawal went un-scrutinized by the media. Were she a conservative, a scandal would most certainly been the cause. A Kennedy?...It's just personal, no questions asked....Kinda like Marilyn Monroe. They're getting away with murder, again.

Damn, you guys are hard to please. Initial feedback on shooting forums, (i.e. gun nuts, these guys make most of you guys look like lefties), is pretty stoked about this.

I agree Clay. It's the best you can expect from a Democrat run New York State. Her biggest problem is that she is very green (only just into her second term in Congress) and viewed by many as a light-weight.

I hope she has some backbone and actually stands up for gun rights.

She voted against the stimulus boondagle, I'd say that took backbone. He'll, she keeps this up and I may put her up there with Palin.

She voted against it because Madame Pelosi told her to vote against it. She was part of the "deal" the was brokered. She was allowed to vote No because she is in an overwhelmingly Republican district.
