Any Raiders of the Lost Ark fans?

I need a costume idea from the Raiders of the Lost Ark, preferably NOT Indiana Jones himself. I'd like something that is easily identifiable but unique.

This is for the annual Mardi Paws parade here in Baton Rouge. Yes, it's a dog parade. The theme this year is "Pawraiders of the Lost Ark". Cute, huh.
The dog I'm dressing up is an 80 pound doberman, so I usually use boy's clothes to fashion his costumes. He is a very patient and tolerant dog, and will wear hats, accessories, etc.

I haven't seen this movie in FOREVER, so I'm having trouble coming up with something. A quick view of the plot summary mentions Nazi soldiers, but that would be a difficult (and possibly tasteless) costume to make. Were there any interesting bad guys - mummies, something?

You did notice that this was for my dog, and not me, correct? The costume would probably work better if it was a male or non-gender specific. Ike (my dog) is pretty forgiving, but even he would probably be offended if I dressed him up like a girl.

I'd go with the sheik outfit turban robe and little scimitar for the pup.
Or the monkey which wore a hat and an outfit. Maybe just buy a stuffed monkey and dress it and have Ike be the stuffed monkey's "ride".
