    Death rates in the War by state

    OK this week (I think it was this week) I saw an interesting breakdown of the deaths in US troops by origin.

    What I found most interesting was that the areas that have had the most troop deaths were the Virgin Islands and Peurto Rico. (The article was in USA today I was in the hotel and am doing this from memory don't know what the article said I just glanced at the graph)
    Never mind it looks like I misread the chart the one on the NPR sight looks more reasonable.
    I was just amazed that people who are not allowed to vote on the nations leaders who could send them off to war volunteer to die for the country.

    It just got me thinking.
