Aion anyone?

Warrior/Tank is half ass new for me.

I have yet to play and level a pure caster.

I am thinking I will in the game after I get Grakan to a confortable level though or maybe while I waite for folks to catch up. Alot of Elite quests comign up and you know i hate the PUG

The norm for me would have been a Gladiator and I am surprised we dont have one in the guild yet

I played everything in WoW except Shaman.

Assassin is a little different for me because I stopped playing my rogue when BC came out, usually I stick to a tank class.

I may make a Fighter to go Gladiator, but I won't do it with Fallakin.

p.s. 1pm in the afternoon and theres already a small queue.

I almost paid for it... but didn't after reading about the queues.
Is it really worth it? Are you guys really enjoying it? Trying to justify the purchase.

I enjoy the game alot. I have only ran into the Que issue once but i know its there and it does suck.

Game play while in game is excellent considering its pre/release they are taking care to make sure the servers are playable for the folks that are playing instead of letting 4000 people log and and reduce game play to a crawl.

I enoy the questing system 10 fold over wow.

I enjoy the crafting system 10 fold over wow.

I enjoy leveling something new and different, experiencing something new and different.

Is it going to be a long term game? Too early to tell but I am crossing my fingures because I see no reason why it cant be.

Instances I havnt experienced yet, raiding I havnt experienced yet, end game I havnt experienced yet.

To me the $50.00 will be worth the grind to lvl 50 to find out.

fair enough, cancelled wow and downloading now. zikel server and the dark faction right?

Asmodian/dark faction yea.

Just a word of advise and i hope they fix it soon. But on top of the server Que there have been issues with them locking one faction of the server or the other to balance it out.

As well as locking over populated servers all together.

www.aiononline.com and www.aionsource.com has some info in regards to the servers and which are locked etc.

can not create asmodian on Zikel West. If you have characters on that server, you can create new ones on Zikel East. Sounds like it is shut down for me.

I'll create one somewhere else and play around until it opens up.

I have been waiting for the release of this game for a while, and I picked it up yesterday. I tried to get on Zikel but the que was in the 1700's , so i made a scout on a random server just to see the game. I only played for 30 minutes because i have to go back to work, but It was very enjoyable. I'm thinking I will make a warrior or scout on Zikel, which I will try to log into again later this evening.

I hear there is a 4 hour que on Ziekel right now. Ive been doing so digging today to see if they are responding at all in regards to the queing problem... havnt found anything yet but I guess the issue is coming from the hundereds...thousands? of people who open a player ship and AFK for 6-8 hours instead of logging out.

Hate to join them but I may need to start logging in before work open a player shop and hope it dont disconnect before I get home hate to add to the issue tho...

Yes, with 4 hours ques it wont last. Can;t play when you want to, is just bad. Anyway, we should pick an alt low pop server to grind on too.

I hear there is a 4 hour que on Ziekel right now.

Confirmed. I just got home and the queue is 4 hours - I'm 1800 in line.

They need to either fix this or allow free server transfers to balance things out. I know quite a few servers are having this problem.
