5+ years or so ago I purchased a Minolta QMS 2300dl. It has served me well, and is a network color laser printer that plugs directly into my router. The drivers are a bit dated, and it prints 600X600 resolution from Vista 64.

Of late, it is showing its age, and I suspect needs a new drum. Toners are decent, but will need to be replaced soon enough as well. Cost to replace these components is ~$250-$300.

Or I could just buy a new color laser. It has been some time since I did a hardware comparison, and am wondering if anyone has done so recently? Is this a no brainer - should I toss the old and just go buy a new one?
