In defiance of US and UN pressures, Iran has committed to fabricating a nuclear weapon.

Smart move.

They have 3 more years of a weak and indecisive US President who leads by appeasement. Three years should be enough time to make it to the finish line. Once they successfully fabricate a nuclear weapon, then they'll be in the club, and as untouchable as Pakistan and North Korea are today.

If I were the President of Iran, I'd be doing the exact same thing on their exact timeline right now.

Obama is definitely giving Carter a run for his money. If Iran gets nuked up during Obama's tenure, who would argue that he is not the worst president of modern times?

Iran doesn't need to worry about the US - it needs to worry about Israel, who is increasingly feeling like it's going solo in this world as the current administration has abandoned it. With no US support to influence it's resistance to a strike - if Iran pushes very far, I honestly fear we will be seeing our next war with a President who will run with his tail between his legs.

Yup, our current president lacks a spine, or any semblance thereof. I really hope Israel WILL address the Iran "problem." Israel tends to finish anything they start.
