I'm speechless .....
I sit here weeping over this photo... in part that is because I am a mother of a young child and because my family too is military. The words 'Thank you' don't begin to cover the debt that owed to this man's family.

Well I wasnt going to say anything but it kinda gets to me everytime i see the photo.
I think its kinda BS taking your 18month kid to see her dead father. Yes the photo is really sad, but I think thats why its so sad. you have a baby girl that doesnt understand that her dad is dead. I think she would have been much better off NOT attending, he mother could have easily documented the event and shared it with her when she is older and could comprehend its meaning.
