    Christmas loot round-up

So was Santa good to everyone this year?

I got a Wii with Wii Fit Plus and Super Mario Brothers. I haven't gotten off the damned thing for 4 hours - I love it!

I also got some bling from my favorite jewelery designer, some serving dishes, a furry throw, and a host of other things, including everyone's favorite - cash!

Also, big thanks to my Secret Santa (can we talk about Secret Santa? I hope so!). I got a nifty gadget to dry out my cell phone or other electronics when I inevitably drop them in water....or I guess if we ever float away in a hurricane. Thanks!!

Hope everyone had a great day.

Congrats on the Wii Swae! Those things are a blast.

Loot for me was some awesome flannel lined blue jeans, a remote control snowmobile, and a bottle of Jack Denials from my Secret Santa (big thanks for that one!). Lots of cash and gift cards. And EOTech (to be ordered).

Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

I recieved Whisky Stones from my Secret Santa (who knows me all too well it seems.)

Other gifts include several books, a japanese paring knife that is blisteringly sharp, gift cards, a bottle of Crown Royal, and a couple bottles of wine.

    Shirts, Ties, etc.

And one of these (which I should physically have Mon or Tue):

Clothes, shaver, and a cool Submarine from my Secret Santa. Woot!

However, this year Nuts Jr., was finally ready for Legos. OMG! My fingers are numb from 5 hours of building. Grandma got him two tubs and I picked him up one for a total of 2200 pieces. And not that pre-made, one-hit wonder crap... Just bags and bags of random pieces with heavy focus on transportation (cars/airplanes/boat parts).

I had to google it. I kept imagining you getting excited over a set of bocce balls, and was kinda confused.

Legos like that are the greatest gift EVER. I can't tell you how many hours I spent with legos when I was a kid. I only had one or two of the 'pre-made' sets, all the rest were just boxes of different parts. I'd probably play with them now if I had them...

Legos are the one toy that we have never gotten rid of as Joe and Julie have grown. We always keep that tub around and break it out every so often. They never get old.

No ... My Secret Santa sent them to me and I was a bit confused myself ... I mean what could be so great about magnetic balls .... OMG was I wrong. My hands cramp, and I haven't gotten a single thing done in 2 days because I can't put them down. The kids steal them every chance they get and now I've had to order 2 more sets for them =)

    Santa was good to me.

    I have tickets to Australia
    For the trip
    A new Kindle
    Luggage
    For the winter
Warm Grippy socks, gloves infused with Aloe, and a warm fur lined blanket you zip into.

Secret santa brought me tea and cookies (Yum) and here I thought that santa ate tea and cookies.
