    @Hylander

    I had some mouse issues when I plugged in a joystick. By default, the 'on-foot' control menu has joystick key mappings, and the game wanted to override the mouse/keyboard in favor of the joystick mappings. My character was constantly running forward due to an open joystick throttle. I had to unmap all the joystick key maps for the 'on-foot' controls.

    Hope this helps.

    I have a Logitech MX1000.

    Fax, I don't have any joystick or other devices connected - but I'll remove the joystick items and see what happens.

    Fax... how were you able to unmap the joystick items? Is there a file you can remove them in? I can't seem to get them blanked out.

    I had to unmap them by binding all the actions to the main trigger as I went down the list. The throttle and tilt/roll axis were the problems, so I wound up binding everything to the trigger button. As you go down the action list, binding to the trigger cancels out the last keymap, so in reality I have only the action 'sprint' mapped to the trigger button.

    OK - So I'll have to connect a joystick and remap it.

    I wanted to get caught up on the single player story so I picked up the PS3 version of the first Bad Company and have been enjoying the heck out of it the past few days. There are still tons of people playing the MP portion of the game. I'm really jazzed for this new one coming out on the PC.

    I have played the BC2 demo quite a bit on PS3. It's impressive; I think I'll pick it up for PC. It would be nice to see a good portion of AK active in something other than WoW, so I'm hoping it generates interest.

    I have yet to get in on the beta, but I'm definitely planning on picking this up. The Battlefield series has long been one of my favorites; hopefully it's as moddable as previous versions. Desert Combat kept BF1942 going for a year or more past the point when interest might otherwise have waned.

    I deleted the POS Beta off my system. I'm not buying it if they can't even get mouse functionality correct.

    Mouse issues have been dealt with for retail release (I mentioned this on Facebook earlier)
    I'm working the midnight launch at Gamestop tonight. We have over 100 reserves between the 360, PS3 and PC version of the game. I'll be home installed and playing by 1:30am(EST) I think I'll play the Single Player part of the game for now to see how the gang of B-Company (Haggard, Sarge, Sweetwater and Marlow) are doing and I'll save diving into Multiplayer till tomorrow when you guys are home and ready to play.

    For those of you buying the PC version and have no idea about how the story progressed in the first game. Here is a quick and dirty synopsis of it. Preston Marlow was going to be convicted of a crime but was given a pass if he joined the Army's B-Company. Upon joining B-Company he and his three other squad mates were thrust into a battle with fierce Russian insurgents and a ruthless mercenary squad. B-Company finds a gold bar and quickly learns there are crates upon crates of gold hidden in a secret area that they are determined to find. The game was filled with alot of good one liner humor and tongue in cheek situations. For the most part it is a modern day telling of Kellys Heroes.

    I'll only purchase if Stitch puts the purchase price in an escrow account to reimburse me if my mouse doesn't work.
