Microsoft no longer offers the RROD support. At this point now all XBOX360 consoles come with a 90-day full warranty hardware repair replacement and 1yr general failure warranty.
The Xbox360 is now starting to show signs of age. Most developers are still not releasing titles that utilize a full 1080p native resolution, and the cost for the Xbox Live! service which allows you to play your games online with friends will be going up to $65.00 per year sometime in the second quarter of this year.
Sony's PS3 has been a slow and steady unit that is now really come into the light, there is no fee to play games online, and it's library is now really something to brag about.
Hy, I'm glad you enjoyed playing on the PS3 there. Hopefully you'll be able to make that jump someday soon and join Palooka and I in some games!
They are fixing mine at no charge and its 1 month from 3 years old.
Um, they're shipping me a label and doing everything for free... Mine is 2 years and a half years old.
You sure it doesn't just apply to people with multiple RRODs?
lol, <3
Retired EQ, WoW Player.
I think that rule only applies to Stitch and his h4XX0r friends.

If you were a zombie and I had to kill you, I'd feel sad.
Stitch,
When I finally buy a PS3, I'll need some advice on how best to connect it up to my PC Monitor, sound, etc. I think I can use an auxiliary input into my PC speakers. I don't 'think' I have another DVI input on my monitor, it's either VGA or S-Video if I recall correctly.
